LSP7T is the smallest in the new Premiere series. It can project an image of up to 120 inches on the wall in front – then at a distance of 30 cm. As you place the projector closer to the wall, the image also becomes smaller.

You'll get precise color accuracy, a super wide color gamut, and exceptional brightness on max 120-inch screen space.

The Premiere has been designed to bring you a big-picture experience – without the need for a screen. It can sit just 30cm away from the wall to give you a massive screen area up to 100 inches – the perfect size for an epic movie night.

Our Verdict. The Samsung LSP7T is alright for watching movies. Its native contrast and brightness are okay, so it's at its best in dim rooms or any room with subtle lighting. Unfortunately, the projector's color accuracy before calibration is sub-par, but it's significantly improved with calibration.

You can leave your Projector on 24/7 if you want to. As long as the projector is operating under normal operating conditions (clean, relatively dust-free environment, and there is sufficient ventilation around projector) the lamp will have the greatest likelihood of lasting through its entire rated lamp life.

So for example, the most common projector throw ratio is 2.0. This means that for each foot of image width, the projector needs to be 2 feet away or D/W = 2/1 = 2.0. So if I'm using a projector with a throw ratio of 2.0 and I have an image width of 5 feet, then my throw distance must be 10 feet.

Recommended Distance Range: Approximately 12 to 18 feet. To achieve a cinematic experience on a 120-inch screen, position the projector within this range. It provides an expansive and immersive viewing experience.

Medium-sized screens are versatile home theater screen size and work well in living rooms or conference rooms. This can be the standard projector screen size for many. They provide a good balance between screen size and room space, accommodating a broader range of viewers.

How Far Should a Projector Be From a 100-Inch Screen? Ideally, you should use your projector's manual or manufacturer's website to calculate the best distance from the screen for your particular projector. A good rule of thumb for a 100-inch screen is to have your projector between 122 and 133 inches or around 10.5ft.

Longer Projector Lamp Life Means More Satisfaction

LED lamps can last over 60,000 hours (almost seven years), while laser light sources can last as long as 20,000 hours (just over two years) as opposed to lamps, which offer lifespans between 1,000 to 5,000 hours (a little over a month to seven months).

How long a projector can last before it's time to be replaced is typically 5-10 years. In this time, technology typically advances far enough where you'll be ready to make a new purchase. The light source on a traditional bulb projector typically has a shorter lamp lifespan, ranging from 2,000 to 5,000 hours.
