Christmas Eve Recipes and Traditions

In my family, Christmas Eve has always been a gathering of friends and family, of amazing food, always Clam Chowder, Christmas Finger Foods, and eggnog.

And Christmas Eve services are attended throughout the day.

After delicious, holiday food is consumed, the whole brood gathers in the living room for Papa’s reading of the Christmas story.

Then, the hanging of the stockings and gathering of Santa’s cookies.

But the grand finale of Christmas Eve is always a family sing of “Carol of the Bells.” Well… and enticing the children to their beds. Which may or may not be successful!

It’s our tradition and it’s lovely.What are your Christmas Eve traditions?
